Upper El Spring Musical: The American Dream Tuesday March 28th at 6pm Costume Requirements below!
Our spring musical is coming up and our kids are very excited. Please be sure to be in attendance on March 28th at 6pm. All upper el students will participate!
Our costume team would like to ask you and your child to go “fishing” in your closets for your child’s costumes this year. I encourage you to resist the impulse to go out and purchase something new because it’s likely you have something that will work right at home! This is a great chance to use your imagination and have a little fun with your family. Each class is focusing on a specific time in history and I have put ideas below to help you find what you need.
Important Notes
Students have already gone through “casting” and should know what part they are playing (please send them to Ms. Candace if they have questions or concerns!)
If your child needs a special prop or novelty item for a part they have been given, our costume team will provide that item.
Shirts can be too big, we will make any adjustments needed with binder clips. Skirts are also easy to hem with tape.
Please put all “picked” items for your child’s costume in a plastic bag with their name on it and bring it to Ms. Candace by March 17th for a costume check. I will hold the item until the show.
